Elise - CEO-Captain

Elise is the owner, creative free spirit, mover and shaker, and team captain @ the retreat.

Elise's hair story started 15 years ago, qualifying as a hairdresser, and running her own hair & beauty salons for the last 12 years.

Elise specialises in hair extensions, unstructured styling, natural hair colour & looks, creative cutting, barbering, and loves creating hair illusions.

Outside of hair & business hobbies? Wife for Life, Mum of 3 teens, lover of chocolate, intuitive card reader and reiki master.

Kirsty Co-Captain

Kirsty is teams co-captain, our beautiful, warm, caring but crazy gal, who loves colour creations!

She loves a good balayage, a crazy colour, or blonde, any creative colour work for Kirsty is just fine.

She thrives on making you feel welcomed in salon, attending to your every need. With over 6 years in the industry, qualified for nearly 5, you're guaranteed to walk out with the best fresh hair feeling.

Outside of hair hobbies? Mumma to her little man, loves adding to her crystal collection, and won't pass up a cocktail on a hot day!

Yana - Make-Up Artist

Yana is our teams makeup artist, and part time beauty queen.
Makeup is her jam and bridal season is her favourite time of year.

Yana has enrolled into Hairdresser college in Geelong, and is so keen to get her hands in hair in salon. Yana also loves waxing, tinting, lashes and brows, and is so keen to learn hair next year.

Outside of makeup hobbies? Yana is keen to chill with her romantic man after work, is a cat mum and also a local barista.

Chloe - Emerging Stylist

Chloe is a first-year apprentice who brings a refined, polished energy to the salon — always showing up looking effortlessly on point.

With a background in makeup artistry, she has a natural eye for detail and beauty, which shines through in her styling work. She’s quickly building confidence in blow waves and curls, with a focus on creating smooth, polished finishes that elevate every look.

Chloe is passionate about learning and perfecting her craft, taking a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to everything she does.

A local with a love for health and fitness, you’ll often find her at the gym or keeping her routine dialled in. While she may be a little more reserved at first, her personality is quietly vibrant — and definitely one to watch as she continues to grow.

Stevie - Emerging Stylist

Stevie is a first-year apprentice with a serious eye for detail and a natural flair for the industry.

A self-confessed perfectionist, she brings a calm, focused energy to everything she does — especially when it comes to the all-important hair wash (expect next-level relaxation). Already showing incredible initiative, Stevie has jumped straight in, trying her hand at cutting and even foils with confidence well beyond her experience.

She has a love for all things beauty, especially makeup, and is always eager to learn, watch, and refine her skills.

A proud local, Stevie brings a fun, vibrant energy to the salon — often breaking into a little in-salon karaoke and keeping the vibe high.

Georgia - Lead Beautician

Georgia is the Retreats qualified beautician, and has been helping our clients on the team on and off since 2018.

From our teams ‘tea‑and‑tidy’ junior, Georgia has really taken a liking to our awesome industry and now helps our clients with all things brows, lash extensions, waxing and hair styling!

Georgia is with us part time during the week, and brings her infectious energy to all her interactions.

Outside of beauty hobbies? Georgia is now finished with school, so has the freedom to enjoy her young life locally and in the big smoke.

Kasey Beauty Junior

Kasey is our beauty junior with a serious eye for detail and a growing reputation for flawless results.

Specialising in lashes, she’s already known for her precision and care — creating full, beautifully balanced sets that keep clients coming back. She’s also building her skills in brows, with a focus on laminations, tinting, and facial waxing, and is quickly becoming a go-to for perfectly shaped, polished finishes.

With a background in hairdressing, Kasey brings a unique hybrid skillset to the salon and is excited to step back into hair alongside her beauty work — making her one to watch as she continues to grow.

Originally from Creswick, she’s a true local at heart, with a love for learning and refining her craft. A self-confessed perfectionist, Kasey is all about the finer details — and it shows in every service she delivers.

Tayah - Emerging Stylist

Tayah is a second-year apprentice with a strong foundation and a clear focus on where she’s headed.

Originally from Maryborough, she’s joined the team to refine her skills and confidently complete her hairdressing qualification — and she’s already making great progress. Tayah is building her expertise across colour, foils, and cutting, while also showing a natural talent for styling, from bouncy blow waves to soft curls.

She brings a calm, positive energy to the salon, with a fun side that pops out in the form of spontaneous dance moves and a love for the team vibe.

Tayah is motivated, focused, and fully committed to her growth — and it shows in the way she approaches every client and every skill she learns.
